Abolition of child labor and importance of child education Awareness Programme –
TRAQQUEE runs this programme with an aim to eradicate child labor and to ensure that every child gets proper education. The initiatives and support for the eradication of Child Labor in India through government sector, non-government sector, judiciary, social workers and public at large has raised hopes for creating mass movement against the menace of Child Labor and provide universal compulsory education for children. Education is a crucial component of any effective effort to eliminate child labor. There are many interlinked explanations for child labor. No single factor can fully explain its persistence and, in some cases, growth. The way in which different causes, at different levels, interact with each other ultimately determines whether or not an individual child
becomes a child labor.
Our approach to this work includes:
- Running awareness programme for abolition of Child Labor in rural and slum areas.
- Running awareness programme for promoting Child Education by promoting the importance of Child Education.
- If any child is found indulged in Child Labor, then informing the district and state authorities for the protection of that child.
- Providing Computer Training and other vocational training to children, in order to promote education.
- Providing monetary help to the needy children for their education.
